Norway, which is slightly larger than New Mexico, is one of the three fingers of Scandinavia. It spans 125,181 square miles and is located in Northern Europe. It borders the North Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean. Norway has a population of 4.3 million and is currently growing. The majority of its population consists of people with Nordic (Scandinavian) ancestry. There is also a small minority of native Smis (Laplanders), numbering around 20,000, mainly living in the northern regions.
In terms of business and management practices, Norway shares numerous similarities with America in areas such as language and communication methods, power structures/politics, work ethics, food preferences and eating habits, dress choices as well as religious beliefs.

Lastly, the third group is composed of individuals aged 65 years and over which make up 16% of the population. Within this group there are 408,675 females and 287,842 males.

English is usually included in the school curriculum around the age of 11 and is often spoken as a second language, similar to its use in the United States.
The shops have a closing time of 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays and remain closed o
Sundays. The clothing style follows European fashion trends while also prioritizing warmth. It is crucial to dress neatly as appearing untidy in public is seen as unsuitable. Traditional costumes known as bunad are worn during special events such as weddings or holidays, and these costumes vary by region and are often intricately embroidered and sewn by hand.
The Church of Norway holds a significant position in Norway, as the majority of the population (over 85 percent) are its members. Nevertheless, religious freedom is upheld in the country, enabling diverse Christian denominations like Pentecostals, Roman Catholics, and various Protestant groups to coexist. It is important to mention that the majority of Norwegians only participate in church services on specific occasions or festive days.
