The water was tranquil when I entered and warmed up. Below my feet, I observed some brightly hued fish swimming. It took me a while to adjust to the sensation of my scuba gear in the sparkling blue water. I informed the boat driver that I'd return in an hour. I swam away, gently moving my feet, observing the coral reef and diving towards the vividly tinted corals and fish.
During my dive, I discovered numerous rare coral types and collected samples for later study. While swimming among the coral, I observed a variety of fish. However, my pleasant excursion took an ominous turn when I noticed a massive dark shadow below me. It turned out to be a tiger shark - one of the world's most dangerous sharks. The shark circled menacingly while I searched frantically for the boat with mountin
...g fear. Eventually, I kicked hard and swam towards the surface until finally breaking through after what seemed like an endless distance. Unfortunately, the boat was nowhere in sight at first glance but eventually appeared as a small speck on the horizon miles away from where I drifted without realizing it. Despite this unexpected setback, all that mattered was getting back to the safety of the boat quickly.
As I struggled in the water, feeling helpless and lost, a shark approached me slowly. Although I could see the boat nearby, the shark continued to swim towards me. Just as it came close enough for an attack, it suddenly turned and brushed against my air tanks before disappearing from sight. However, moments later, a fin appeared and hit my legs with such force that they were broke
instantly. The pain was excruciating and shot throughout my body. With no sensation in my feet, I feared that the shark might return to complete its attack.
The shark had its jaws clamped around my side and its mouth wide open as it came at me again. Its teeth pierced my air tanks and dug into my stomach, turning the water around me red with blood. Despite my efforts to escape its grip, I couldn't pull away. The shark began pulling me down past once-bright fish swimming around coral reef, turning my dream dive into a nightmare that weakened my lungs and made my head feel faint. My life was slipping away as numbness overtook me, but a sudden jolt reminded me of the agony and gave me the determination to survive.
Desperately reaching out, I attempted to gouge the shark's eyes with bare hands as it aimed to devour me. Miraculously, the shark released its grip for no apparent reason freeing me from harm's way. With no understanding of how it happened, I swam towards sunlight piercing through dark waters towards the surface as fast as possible where gasping for air upon arrival while searching for boat location; luckily nearby driver heard shout before blacking out due immense pain.
