to knowing what a family was and how it feels to have a family or to lose a family.

Mila really like the feeling but she also missed her family dolphins that are waiting for her back at the ocean. Mila also met a boy whose name is Justin; he is Dr. Beck’s son. They too also get along. The only reason Mila is in institution is because the government wants to know everything about her, and so they made her make a journal of her life. Mila teaches the people about her life as a dolphin’s child and so did the researchers teach Mila about language and music. She learns too, about rules and expectations about locked doors and broken promises, disappointment and betrayal.

She also learned how to use a tape recorder because she loves to make music. The more Mila find out about being human, the more deeply she longs for her ocean home. In the end shay lived with a new family and Dr. Beck along with his son Justin and assistant Sandy lived happy. As for Mila, she was taken home where she dearly belongs, out in the ocean with her mother dolphin and friends. Although Mila knew that she the only survivor of a plane crash 13 years ago, and was from there on raised by dolphins, she learned that the ocean was her home living together with her dolphin family.
