What is Japanese?
Japan is a country with an incredibly rich culture. For centuries, its customs and traditions have been embraced by people around the world. Sushi is perhaps Japan’s best known culinary export but other favorites include tempura (deep fried vegetables), soba noodles (made from buckwheat flour) and ramen (noodle soup). Traditionally prepared dishes such as kaiseki ryori represent a pinnacle of culinary refinement involving multiple courses served in succession usually at special occasions like weddings or corporate dinners. Traditional Japanese restaurants can be found in major cities across Europe, North America as well as Asia where it remains immensely popular amongst locals too.Finally, Japan is home to numerous excellent festivals throughout the year reflecting various aspects of local culture including music, dance performances or fireworks displays that attract millions of tourists annually from around the globe who come to witness these vibrant spectacles firsthand.
