Teaching programming languages to children at a young age is a valuable way for them to utilize their time. It can bring long-term benefits as they gain expertise in the technology field. They can explore various programming languages, including picture languages, block or bubble languages, and simplified versions of "real" programming languages intended for adults. This not only prevents children from being idle but also makes coding enjoyable by tailoring it to their individual pace and skill level.

The learning and coaching can be done either online or offline, depending on the learners’ preference. By efficiently spending their time, children can acquire coding expertise which can become a valuable skill for them. Parents also take their children to educators' locations where they can easily learn how to create gaming applications and puzzles using child-friendly coding languages. Mercy Clinton, a mother of two, admits that she is not very knowledgeable about computers. In order to prevent her children from being like her, she advises them to become familiar with computers and regularly takes them for training in Newark city centre.

By incorporating figures into their programs, children not only learn Mathematics but also benefit from the fruits of technology through possible commercialization of their activities. Additionally, teaching them how to handle, use, and assemble computers equips them with basic important skills for their present and future lives. These skills include knowing how to switch on a computer, use a search engine, search the web, and operate simple relevant applications.

According to Gentry (157), providing young people with access to computers and the internet helps them develop technological knowledge and become elite innovators. Being familiar with these technical services makes it easier for them to understand and work with technology, reducing its perceived complexity. This could greatly enhance the level of innovation in Newark.

In addition, it is important to introduce children to various online resources available in Newark that can help occupy their free time. These facilities offer tutoring services and provide opportunities for children to engage in activities that align with their interests. As young minds are curious by nature, it is crucial to provide them with meaningful and technological information that can expand their knowledge. While sports and extracurricular activities are popular among Newark residents, it is worth considering online programs that offer engaging IT-based activities to make the best use

of children's extra time. Surveys show that a majority of parents (90%) in Newark believe their younger children are more focused on activities such as watching television, movies, videos, and playing games (79%), rather than programming games.

The mentioned activities are not considered wrong actions but they are not as productive for the children of Newark. However, these IT-facilities play a crucial role in involving children in technology services, which helps enhance their knowledge in the field and teach them time management and prioritization skills. It also allows them to explore their interests, contribute to the world of technology, boost self-esteem, and improve thinking abilities. Shellenbarger states that technology is vital for children from a young age to their teenage years (26). While children may require these technology facilities, it is the responsibility of parents to make them accessible and available. Providing willing and interested children with simple coaching is important as it makes concepts easier to understand and more enjoyable, enabling faster comprehension and hands-on learning through creating personal projects. Through these processes, children acquire design skills, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability to various programs.

Additionally, 33% of parents in Newark report that their children only shut down the school when they have already planned how to spend their time. It would be advantageous if these students were directed towards IT activities. Merely focusing on class work is insufficient to produce well-prepared and experienced individuals; equipping these children with technology knowledge makes them more admirable and competitive. What is the importance of technology and how can it aid Newark? Technology improves the efficient use of tools, stimulates progress, and encourages innovation within the Newark community. Technology has

made information transfer easier than ever before, making the world feel smaller. As part of this global community, Newark stands to benefit from the same technological advancements that benefit everyone else. The implementation of technology in the city could also potentially lead to overall growth and expansion for Newark.

From the oldest to the youngest generations, technology is essential in our daily lives. Newark without technology is like a lifeless body, highlighting the undeniable importance of IT in the city. In summary, technology and children are two areas that can intersect and generate unimaginable results.

Research and technological inventions have the potential to enhance children's education and innovation abilities. They offer disadvantaged children an affordable and constructive way to spend their time during summer and off-school days. This research also encourages parents to uncover and nurture their children's skills, as well as teach them effective time management. Technology introduces these children to civilization, enabling them to explore its benefits and fun.
