At the age of 16, I developed a passion for engineering after encountering G.B. Shaw's quote "Why not?". This quote resonated with my curious nature and sparked an interest in mechanical engineering. However, as an undergraduate student, I felt unsatisfied with my academic performance and believed that I wasn't reaching my full potential.
Everything changed during my sixth semester when I specialized in automobiles. The subject fascinated me deeply, and over time, my enthusiasm only grew stronger. It was then that I realized pursuing a specialization in automobile engineering was the right path for me. Throughout school, I consistently strived for excellence and embraced a competitive environment that fueled both my love for competition and thirst for knowledge.
My dedication to learning paid off academically, earning high marks in state exams such as scoring 72% in matriculation and achieving a score of
...720/6 in XX Junior College's 125th standard (eliminated).
These accomplishments opened doors to prestigious universities nationwide and provided valuable exposure. My exceptional grades in higher secondary education allowed me to gain admission into the renowned institute XX (formerly known as XX), which is affiliated with XX University, one of the top-ranked universities in my country.
Although I initially struggled in choosing mechanical engineering as my undergraduate program, my academic performance significantly improved as I became more fascinated by subjects like internal combustion engines, theory of machinery (kinematics and dynamics), design of machine elements, and finite element analysis. These subjects not only captured my interest but also had a direct impact on my overall academic performance throughout my course.
Alongside my academic pursuits, I actively participated in extracurricular activities from an early stage and achieve
recognition in debates, auto quizzes, and similar events. Additionally, I demonstrated leadership skills by taking on organizational roles for various events during my undergraduate years.
Furthermore, both professors and fellow students have acknowledged my commendable communication skills which will be advantageous as I strive to pursue a graduate program outside of my home country.
