Kohlberg’s model deals with an individual separately and hence believes moral behavior to be related to several factors such as intelligence of man, the ability to choose rewards by anticipating for the future, the ability to concentrate and control impious imaginations as well as contentment related to self and the people around in the environment. Kohlberg’s theory of moral development mainly deals with several aspects of morality and is divided into six stages, however, out of which we only adhere to a maximum of four stages and will rarely come across individuals who fall in the fifth and sixth stages as well. The ability to choose or comprehend decisions based on Kohlberg’s theory of moral development varies with age and the cognitive thinking pattern changes with age. Kohlberg mainly concentrates on the intellectual development and thinking and does not rely on any so-called “right answers” for any issue. Kohlberg’s stages of moral development deal little with women and hence, cannot solve problems related to women as they can hardly be categorized into any stage.

Mainly, Gillian deals with women’s rights to overcome the sexism remarks when dealing with the moral development and mainly concentrates on building a woman’s personality based on her thinking and her feelings as it differs greatly from men
 (Longres, 2004)Personally, I feel I resonate more with Gillian’s model of moral development for females as I believe it takes more than just a mere judgment in order to decide on any matter. Kohlberg’s model also reflects some of the characteristics that I possess as my thinking process have changed over a period of time as there are issues that need a more intellectual answer rather than a more emotional answer. Gillian’s model of moral development deals with the sensitivity of women and therefore, a sensitive stance on women’s development of cognitive thinking and decision-making process is highlighted in this model that further develops into the moral developmental process for women. I have always believed in woman power to change any stance of my life and therefore, my personality plays a vital role when viewing Gillian’s model of moral development.

Kohlberg’s model of moral development takes a more rational and straight stance on issues and hence, differences in quite a lot of ways is seen when dealing with moral issues on an intellectual basis. I do believe in “mercy-killing” to be right in its own sense as it liberates an entrapped soul from the painful body. While I cannot use Kohlberg’s model of moral development in deciding on emotional factors in my life, this model resonates with me when dealing with other matters in my life such as making opinions about controversial issues

issue in the understanding of human psychology as we are able to comprehend about the human apprehension and aggression issues Glicken covers some of the important causes of adolescent violence where she attributes “early-onset violence” in children to be the precursors of adolescent violence in teenagers. Early onset of violence in young children can be attributed to several other factors as well such as negligence, physical abuse or even unstable mentality. Therefore, it is important to note how proper child rearing techniques can actually prevent the cases of adolescent violence in teenagers. It is crucial to understand their needs first as they are very sensitive to environmental issues (Glicken, 2003).

Families, of course, play a vital role in the composition of an adolescent mind that further proceeds to adulthood with time. The reason why we face such a difficult time dealing with adolescent children is because we are not responsive to their needs in a way that they should be responded to. This, of course, leads to an misunderstanding, further paving a way for child neglect which is why teenagers adopt unsafe practices and are found to be victims of juvenile crime cases at a very tender age. The development of the sense of morality in adolescent takes time and should therefore be managed in a way that it places a positive impact on them rather than a negative one (Glicken, 2003).Adolescent violence cases often pose a very difficult time for the family and hence, an increased parental involvement in the development of children could enhance ways that could actually prevent the occurrence of such cases. This includes devoting sufficient time for the development of children

by being productive for the community as well as for the family.

Childhood violence is a sensitive issue and should be dealt with seriousness and any stance of misunderstanding should be avoided to a large extent. The cases of adolescent violence should be dealt with a sensitive perspective and individually rather than graphically separating such cases on the basis of race, gender or communities.Personally, I believe in handling such juvenile cases with extreme delicateness as the minds of adolescents are still in the development stage and have a tremendous impact on their future, i.e. adulthood.

All the pieces fit nicely into the puzzle of adolescent crime and hence, for every action, there is a cause and for every cause, there is an effect on the action. Adolescent violence will not take place if there aren’t any causes related to it. Failing to interact with adolescents is the main reason where most of us would find the pieces hard to fit in the jig-saw puzzle of adolescent violence. It is essential to interact with them, at their level by first placing our trust with them. I believe that unless a child or a teenager trusts you, they will not reveal anything appropriate unless they are sure that the person with whom they are consulting with will actually understand them.We read several cases of juvenile behavior and crimes but fail to understand why they take place.

Just genders, race or any particular community influence cannot be held responsible for such acts. Many incidences are responsible for such behavior and only one cause or one reason is not enough to elucidate on why such behavior actually occurs in
