In Paseo del Rio people can go to eat in restaurants or take a boat ride on the river.

An example of a Texas-Mexico dish is the nachos, with flour tortillas and yellow cheese. This same dish in Mexico is made with corn tortillas and white cheese.

People use cascarones “shells” during the San Antonio fiesta. They are also popular during Easter and graduations. These eggs filled with confetti and colored paper, are broken in the head of friends, bringing that friend good luck.

At El Mercado, friends can listen to some mariachi music and eat typical Mexican food. Calle Ocho is a Little Havana of Miami and there it is possible to eat Cuban sandwiches and drink mango juice.
