The task is to write a list of characteristics with your partner that a person interested in having an adventure similar to that of Columbus is likely to have. It can be the same adventure as Columbus or a different one. You can choose adventures that take place in the future or present day events such as exploration of other planets or the bottom of the sea. Next, write a list of logical reasons to support the project. Discuss the two lists with your partner and then present them to the class.

The person who decides to explore the unknown, especially the one who decides to go around the world without knowledge, is likely to be brave, courageous and bold. For example, the person who wants to explore the depths of the sea must be fearless. There is probably no such person who is 100% fearless, but nevertheless must be incredibly courageous. The logical reason to support this person is that we still do not know many things about our ocean and this project would be scientifically useful. Also, it is important to support a person in achieving their goals or dreams.

Por ejemplo, la persona que quiera explorar las profundidades del mar debe ser intrépida. Probablemente no exista una persona que no tenga miedo al 100%, pero sin embargo debe ser increíblemente valiente.
