You write an advice column for the student newspaper and receive several letters from students asking what to do and what not to do on a camping trip. Write a column giving them specific advice. Include information on where to go (or not to go), what to take (and not to take), what to do (and not to do). Use impersonal commands and expressions to give your advice.

Qusetion: “There’s this girl I really like, and we always have good conversations when we see each other at parties. However, whenever I see her during the week and talk to her, she always reintroduces herself to me like we’ve never met. What should I do?”

Answer: “I think that she’s either intoxicated when you talk at parties, super shy, or playing games. I don’t know about you, but I’m not one for guessing, so call her on it and break the ice. Next time she reintroduces herself, smile and ask her how many times she plans on doing that. Tell her you remember her name from the first time you two met because you enjoy talking to her and would like to get to know her outside of parties. Ask her when she’s available to hang out and get her number at that moment! You can’t figure it out without taking a chance, so don’t be shy.“

Dile que recuerdas su nombre de la primera vez que os visteis porque te gusta hablar con ella y te gustaría conocerla fuera de las fiestas. Pregúntale cuándo está disponible para salir y consigue su número en ese momento. No puedes averiguarlo sin arriesgarte, así que no seas tímido. “
