Make a list of three nouns and give it to your partner. He or she should make up a metaphor for each noun on your list, relating the noun to something else. You should do the same with your partner’s list. Then match each noun and metaphor with verbs. Construct sentences using the past progressive.

My example:

Noun: sun
Metaphor: “a ball of fire“
Verbs: to swim, to jump

I was swimming under the sun, which is a ball of fire.
I was jumping in the sea, while the ball of fire was shining.

Sustantivo: sol
Metáfora: “una bola de fuego”
Verbos: nadar, saltar

Estaba nadando bajo el sol, que es una bola de fuego.
Estaba saltando en el mar, mientras la bola de fuego brillaba.
