In this exercise, we are given sentences in the present tense and we must pass them to preterite tense.

If we realize it, all the verbs that are presented to us have the ending **ir** in their infinitive form.

We must remember that verbs ending in **ir** that have stem changes in the present tense (*morir – muero*), will also have changes in the third person preterite tense. (*morí – murió*).

With that clear, we can write the sentences in the preterite tense. Let’s see them below:
