In that the long chain of communication between various people in the society has been decreased due to the widespread use of telephone. In a more advanced situation, the interaction of people has created a common portal in the use of telephones where all the transactions are being carried out with regard to the society set objectives in place (Moriarty & Honnery, 2014).

Society life before telephone technology

Long before the technological advancements the social, economic and political life of the society faced lot of challenges and especially in the means of communication. At first the society used methods of smoke and massagers to pass important massages (Crowley & Heyer, 2015). The communication got better after the use of letters writing took place. This method too was not a reliable mean because it could take days to reach the destination and this was not guaranteed. Those time life was hard less productive given the fact people good not effectively carry out business activities due to lack of a way to communicate. This made people confined themselves o small groups because reaching to others was a big challenge. People should not easily interact with others cultures and exchange ideas but relied only on what they knew to be their way of life (Crowley & Heyer, 2015). This was long before the telephone came into place.

Peoples’ political life was defined in their cultures and their

life generally was not widely diversified. Prior the telephone was invented the telegram and mail were widely used as the only way to communicate at a distance. This took a lot time and people lives were generally poor due to lack of information and poor productivity in both farm produce and business. The security was poor. People could not communicate easily and fast during attacks. People could get lost and be a challenge finding them back. The society could not effectively respond to the emergence situations such as medical emergencies and get help from the available resources in time. Deaths could happen due to lack of quick response (Crowley & Heyer, 2015).

Society functioning after telephone technology implementation

Implementation and wide spread of technology in the field of telephones, the society registered a notable change in the ways things were used to be done. This effect was especially advantageous and felt in the sector of communication. This kind of technology had some impact on how people in the society interacted with one another. In other words it turned the term “friend” into a verb. For instance, it made it possible for society members to share easily the mundane (Selehan & Negahban, 2013). With thousands or even millions of people under the courtesy of advancement in technology in mobile phones were able were able to market themselves academically, politically and professionally to the whole world. As technology in mobile phones spontaneously spread in the society and expanding beyond the boundaries of the social circle, there was a great change in various media (Selehan & Negahban, 2013). This was how the people perceived with each other.

The social functioning was

improved and the life of the people was made better. This is because the technology came up with new functionalities like tweeting, and Facebook and new wireless telecommunications which created a forum where by one could create awareness to a large number of people at the same time and with a lesser cost (Selehan & Negahban, 2013). Actually this kind of advancement brought an ambiguous in the people and the social functioning of the members of society who were lucky to experience the change (Selehan & Negahban, 2013).

Technological innovations and advancements in telephone from the iterations that were previous indeed the aspects of the lives of the people. Social researcher have worked hard in bringing attention that in the early stages in the development of the technology, there emerged digital division and access that is uneven to the technology discovered in the society. In this sense the part that become lexicon and the issue of digital division in the society begun as result of some communities receiving and being in the position to access an internet that was super and infrastructure that was upgraded (Selehan & Negahban, 2013). Therefore the society in a way that was better as compared to the past when the technology in telephones had not been invented.

Impacts of telephone technology in people’s health and welfare

Telephone technology contains both positive and negative impacts on people’s health and welfare based on their use and nature. Communication is made convenient in that individuals stay in touch with their family anytime and anywhere (Moriarty & Honnery, 2014). Telephone provides entertainment to individuals and the society at large. They are more essential when it comes to

studies and business since it facilitates quick access to other clients. The use of telephone in economy, politics and socially has impacted lots in people’s health and welfare. There is lack of concentration most specifically between students due to continuous calls and messages. Such lack of attention will distract students from finishing the assignment which negatively impacts their academic performance, leads to anxiety to the users due to the inflow of calls and news they receive which ultimately cause an eye strain. It results into loss of appetite and often tired from be squeezed with the telephones (Moriarty & Honnery, 2014). Continuous use of telephones leads also to addiction where an individual can’t do without the use of phone. From the analysis of the impacts of telephone in people’s health and welfare, we notice that the negatives impacts outweigh the positives ones. As such with regard to when telephone were not implemented, the people’s health and welfare were not in such a big mess since the society carried its activities efficiently but not in a quick way. In addition the society should made use of the technology in place but be cautioned of the side effects in place (Moriarty & Honnery, 2014). This is because it facilitates quick access to various activities within the society at large more specifically in business.

Environmental impacts

Telephones like all structures that are high, masts of cellular antenna pose a hazard to an air craft that is flying in a low attitude (Selehan & Negahban, 2013). Towers that have constructed close to airports are supposed to have lights of warning on TV towers and cellular masts and any other structure that

is high which can attract and confuse the birds. A large of birds is killed near telephone communication towers each year (Selehan & Negahban, 2013).

A significant number of towers of cellular antenna have been camouflaged; reason behind to make them seem less in the horizon. This has also made them more appear like a tree. Incidents of the way mobile networks and mobile phones have often been perceived as a threat that is later widely reported having discredited the existing claim that the masts of the mobile phone are closely associated with disorder of colony collapse (Selehan & Negahban, 2013). This has affected the environment for it has reduced the number of bee hives.

Conclusion

The living style of human beings has been changing as time goes by. This change has been brought by the continued improvement in the commutations. In ancient time our forefathers used to communicate using poor methods which were not effective making life difficult in getting information. The invention of the telephone has greatly improved the way people communicate and generally improved the living styles. People can communicate from long distances making the world a small village. People can socialize with each other from all corners other earth. Response to emerges has been made easier and quick by the use of telephone.
