A student with the knowledge in project management has the required skills that are required in businesses. One is able to assume such responsibilities as planning, accounting tasks, project initiation, managing information systems, operations management, procurement and writing/understanding contracts. They are also able to handle several challenges in a business ranging from cost control and risk management to total quality management. Students with the knowledge are able and well equipped, and thus they are able to handle a lot than the way they could with just their major alone.

This is an advantage that makes this combination a special one. For instance, the high demand of the combination makes it very competitive as compared to others. Additionally, it makes it be viewed as a very respectful combination due to the high demand in the market. Consequently, a combination of Project Management with Business Administration is regarded by many people as a sought-after pool of many graduated whereby many business sectors draw from especially in

their processes of hiring. Inevitably, this combination provided several opportunities for the students to explore.

A student with the knowledge in Project Management and Business Administration would never find difficulties to find a job. Due to the wide range of areas that the two covers, such students are considered as a priority since they are well equipped. Many organizations and employers would prefer them since they are able to handle several positions in the organizations and thus they are considered as an asset to the organizations, (Hesselbarth & Stefan, 28). The knowledge in Project Management helps the students to be able to be good project managers and hence even if they get a job in the business administration, they are able to be considered in the project management. Additionally, when one is looking for a job, possibilities are that they would not lack a change as either project managers or in the business administration. This is the key advantage of studying project management.

Many institutions are putting Project Management into very high consideration due to the very high commercially-driven market demand, (Myers, 45). It is hence that they exhort an understudy to be studying Project Management apart from their majors. Since they have learnt how major project management is, they are trying to explain to the students who do not understand it.

The awareness of the advantages of studying project management among the students is very crucial since many students are really missing great opportunities. Without the knowledge, students are not able to realize how important project management is not just to their academics or to their profession, but also to other activities like organizing such events as

weddings among many others. For this reason, students are supposed to consider project management in their studies as it helps in several fields.
