The book "Son of Neptune" is book 2 of the series Heroes of Olympus. This book is fictional book based of Greek mythology and is written by Rick Ordain. The tense of this book is third person but is special as the point of view from each character is changed per chapter. Son of Neptune is a book about a demigod (the offspring of a god and a mortal) called Percy Jackson who has lost all his memories and is trying to find his way around and get his memories back. The book starts off with Percy fleeing way from two snake-haired ladies who refuse to die.
After killing them multiple times and seeing them come back to life again, Percy becomes worn out but finds himself at the entrance of a gate to the Roman camp for demigods. After
...finding sanctuary within, he tries to remember his past but can only recall the name of what must have been his girlfriend, Inhabit. While the camp is debating whether Percy, a Greek demigod should be accepted into a Roman camp, Hear, the Queen of the gods comes down to present a mission to save the world that involves Percy.
Percy brings with him two friends that he made in camp. Together they heroically fight the challenges, defeat the impossible and try to save the world from certain destruction. This book is action packed, enjoyable, humorous and hard to put down. It contains a very good storyline and I recommend it to people aged 10 to 17. The Author's writing was very effective as it made you keep on reading and turning the pages. Overall
I believe that anyone who enjoys a good read with action, humor and great storyline should have a read of "The son of Neptune".
