In the 21st century, women have moved away from their traditional role as homemakers. According to a female professor, in the past, women were expected to get a high school education and marry someone who was financially stable. However, present-day women now take part in meaningful employment and strive for acknowledgment of their accomplishments, going against previous social expectations.

In the past, women were expected to fulfill traditional roles as homemakers and cooks. However, with the arrival of the 21st century, this has changed significantly. Women now pursue higher education and hold positions in various industries, breaking barriers in the corporate world. Although women have made advancements and progress in the corporate world, it is important to recognize that they have surpassed men for several reasons. In certain roles where they excel, women outperform men but are paid less. Moreover, women now possess both theoretical and practical education, which was once exclusive to men, making them more qualified for positions. Furthermore, women dedicate more time to their roles.

In our country of around 400,000 people, women have held various positions such as Deputy Prime Minister, Governor General, CEO of Banks, Principals of schools, VP of Hotels, Speaker of the House Assembly, and even a Resident of College. who are comfortable with having women as their bosses because they see them as authoritative and helpful in promoting growth. Nevertheless, there are still men who feel uneasy about this due to biblical beliefs that prioritize male leadership.

It is not uncommon to find men who struggle to accept women in leadership roles. While on a tour in Freeport, I observed a man exhibiting unusual behavior and felt compelled to understand more about his actions. To gain insight, I approached my guide and discussed any concerns that may have arisen from the man's conduct. The guide informed me that the man had developed mental instability due to his wife earning a higher income than him. However, it is important to highlight that despite earning more money, women still value their partners' involvement in various aspects of life, including making business decisions, managing finances, and even selecting meals.
