This is also because healthcare givers do not want their loyal customers to pull out because of including a homosexual or trans-gender individual.

It is important to realize that human kind is what it is regardless of anyone’s sexual orientation. Exposure as well as training institutions for doctors, should incorporate lessons on how to facilitate healthcare effectively to the gay community (Contemporary Nurse, 2013). It is therefore important to realize that humanity is not a choice but rather an obligation. Everyone is equal! Because of these concerns, many gay oriented individuals fear for their old age health services as they are inadequate to sustain them for a long period of their lives (Journal of Homosexuality, 2014). This is due to the fact that sub-standard healthcare is given to them.
