Lastly, drug use is also a common cause for students dropping out. Whether it is due to peer pressure or curiosity, students who engage in drug use often prioritize it over their academic responsibilities. It is unfortunate how much of our society today prioritizes less important things over education. Unless students recognize the significance of school, dropout rates will persist.
