Bonfire Night Under the large oak tree stood a little boy with his parents helping him to light his sparkler. This clearly was his first time as he was a little worried that it would burn his tiny little fingers. Most of the children were in groups showing off to each other how big their fireworks were or what effects it produced. The adults were busy buying kids their late night snacks. In the middle of the park Bright yellow orange, flames danced, flickered knowing they were being watched by an amazed crowd.
The ire was a dragon roaring with fury and spitting charcoal, with the immense heat that slapped your face. In the middle of the dragon stood guy Fawkes. He was stuffed with wool, it was wearing a tatty blazer, his eye
...s were painted red, and he is standing on a big bulky brown stick it looked like a demon. You could smell the wood as it was burning it smelt like charcoal. Above the dark black clouds were low and hairy in the skies, like locks blown forward in the bleem of eyes. People watching the bonfires were in high spirits.
Chants of "Remember, remember the fifth of November, Gunpowder, treason and plot" rose up into the sky. A teenager munching on the baked potato which he had Just cooked over the bonfire. Then began the grand finale, fireworks began to make the sky ripple like as if a stone had been dropped into a pond. It was as loud as a thunderstorm but children's happy faces lit up. The vivid colours full of merriment filled the sky. The flames of
the fireworks flickered and twisted. Displays of such brilliance nobody there was tired of watching.
The fireworks tried hard to outshine the stars or to be more striking and elegant than the last. While they vainly attempted to try and touch the sky. A man stared at the sky in sheer bliss his potato pie with pickled red cabbage almost fell apart. The cold hair making his head turn towards the smell of burning wood. A squirrel stares through a little hole in the oak tree amazed by all the excitement. Underneath the tree sat the little child who had almost finished lighting his packet of sparklers.
