Over the recent years, many milestones have been achieved in public health. Such milestones include: developing a vaccination for various disease such as diphtheria, tetanus, smallpox among others. Such has reduced case of death, the cost associated and hospitalization. America has introduced about 17 new vaccinations targeting different disease (Heath et al, 2008). It has also ensured safer workplace through the introduction of occupational safety which offers free education to workers. The family planning options have increased enabling people to have an only small family which is easy to maintain. Tobacco has realized as harmful product, and sustained effort is offered t
decrease it effects and the on people who consume it (Anon, 2016).
Terminal disease such as cancer has been prevented. This has been done through the positive living measures and frequent screening and treatment (Anon, 2016). The death caused by the stroke and cancer have significantly reduced due to the discovery of various effective diseases. Infectious diseases such Ebola has also successfully handled. Adding some fluoride to soften drinking water has reduced child mortality rate. The general health of child`s and mothers` has also improved.
In conclusion, the death adjusted to ages has declined by 888.1 per every population of 100,000 from 1999 to 2009 in the United States (Jatakanon, 2000). Advanced public health is significantly resulting in declining in injury and disease. The public health has continued to evolve, and complex and new challenges lie a hard, but enough research will overcome them.
