The existence of widespread fear surrounding cloning is due to various factors. These include concerns about the artificial nature of reproduction in a laboratory, the manipulation and destruction of embryos, and the potential dangers posed to resulting offspring when identical twins or multiple individuals with the same genome are created.
Religious organizations argue against the use of cloning, claiming it undermines various aspects of human life such as dignity, destiny, reproduction, and family. However, it is crucial to acknowledge that not all individuals can naturally conceive a child. This is why I am writing today - to highlight how cloning offers infertile couples the chance to have children through embryo donation. Many couples struggling with infertility have found solace in this development since parenthood is a universal desire. Despite religious opposition rooted in biblical reasons, it shoul
...d be noted that the Bible depicts childless women as desperate and marginalized, although some ultimately received miracles. Hence, in modern times, cloning can be viewed as a miraculous solution for those unable to conceive and brings joy to those yearning for children.
While criticisms exist regarding cloning, it is important to acknowledge that the associated dangers are minimal. It is worth noting that physical issues can arise in children born through both cloning and natural reproduction. In fact, a child's health cannot be guaranteed until birth or maturity. Therefore, considering risks solely attributed to cloning is outdated. Without taking risks, there can be no achievement or success. Moreover, there are numerous activities that entail higher risks than cloning, such as driving which unfortunately leads to the loss of children on a daily basis.
Selecting to have a genetically similar child throug
cloning based on genotype can contribute to reducing the prevalence of unwanted children - one of the primary causes behind abortions. This procedure involves transferring the parental genes to the child, resulting in offspring who share genetic similarities with their parents (Jord, 2016). By choosing your child's traits and determining when they will be born, you can better prepare for their educational and healthcare requirements.
Despite arguments that cloning results in the mass production of indistinguishable individuals, it is worth noting that this plan is too costly for most people. Insurance companies refuse to cover its expenses. Nevertheless, the ability to obtain genetically identical sources of organs or tissues can be considered an advancement in the field of body transplants. If a transplant is required, another embryo can serve as a donor, reducing risks and expenses associated with finding a voluntary donor. Cloning offers a solution to future challenges like death caused by insufficient organs for transplantation, ultimately saving lives. Hence, it is vital to educate the public about the feasibility of cloning through increased research efforts leading to conclusive outcomes.
By analyzing the results, the public domain can comprehend and eradicate the negative perception regarding cloning. Holding seminars to educate the public about the benefits of artificial methods for reproduction and possible side effects is crucial. Despite criticism from religious leaders who assert that cloning contradicts biblical principles of procreation between a man and a woman, it must be acknowledged that some couples face biological obstacles preventing natural conception. This necessitates considering cloning as an alternative.
Therefore, it is essential to change the negative perception towards coining because it is done to provide everyone with the opportunity
to have children.
