The CEO of the World Trade Centre (WTC) Association, Eric R Dahl, stated in a conversation with Dilasha Seth and Indivjal Dhasmana that it will take about 14-15 months to replace the twin towers destroyed on 9/11 with seven new towers in New York City. Additionally, Dahl noted that WTCs are currently underrepresented in India, with only two located in Mumbai and Bangalore. However, there are plans for two more WTCs being developed; one is partially completed in Manesar (Haryana), while another is planned for Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh.

Concern was expressed by the speaker regarding India having only eleven World Trade Centers (WTCs) and its adequacy for proper representation. In an interview, the speaker was questioned about his organization's reaction to the 9/11 attacks on the Twin Towers in New York. The speaker clarified that their organizat

ion had no jurisdiction over this deliberate attack and thus it was not related.

Within the next 15-18 months, the upcoming WTC building is set to start functioning. Instead of the previous twin towers, this edifice will consist of seven towers. It is expected that this new structure will exceed the significance of its predecessor and become the top destination in the United States due to its association with historical events.

The main monument will be composed of two buildings as its base and seven towers surrounding it. The highest tower will be the first one, and the smallest in size will be the last.

Collaborating were seven architects hailing from diverse nations to create the structures. Our corporation is broadening its influence in India by founding branches in Manesar and Greater Noida, which are within the National Capital Region (NCR).

This is in addition to our current establishments stationed in Mumbai and Bangalore. Two initiatives have been devised: Spire Edge situated at WTC Manesar and Spire Tech located at Greater Noida, both of which are classified as WTCs.

The mixed use development covers 6 million square feet and includes an office space of 1.3 million square feet, along with residential, retail, and service apartments that collectively occupy 0.3 million square feet. WTC Noida is a 2.5 million square foot mixed use development. The association is present globally with 130 WTCs across various countries.

The United States has approximately 60 offices, while China has 36. Plans for India include the potential to open more WTCs, as it is an important market and a high growth economy similar to China.

As cities develop, their need for international trade increases, leading to the desire to become part of a global network and establish a building. While Bombay and Bangalore already have locations, expansion is now underway in NCR, Chennai, Kolkata, and other regions. In total, India will eventually boast eleven WTCs including Hyderabad and Goa.

In our attempt to expand the WTC brand, we are working with multiple cities. When considering a potential building in a city, we take into account several factors such as our global network and areas where we lack presence. After analyzing these factors, we have identified India as an opportunity for WTC's growth.

Overall, we hold a favorable view of India despite concerns about inadequate representation of eleven offices. We believe there is significant untapped potential. Although developers construct WTCs and you do not own them, we are wondering about your involvement. Our network

comprises of one million companies and 300 WTCs combined.

Our network is accessible to members who are seeking support for international trade. This support is particularly geared towards small businesses and is provided in our buildings where advisory services are available to assist with obtaining permits, documents, and arranging trips to different countries. As an organization focused on promoting international trade, we need to consider the state of the global economy amidst crises in the Euro zone and a struggling US economy. We operate in all regions.

Regardless of the economic cycle, individuals are drawn to our family and network both in challenging times and prosperous ones, providing a compelling rationale to stay connected even when circumstances are tough.

Without a doubt, WTCs in India can contribute to the growth of India's exports by facilitating the entry of foreign companies into the Indian market. In the face of protectionist sentiments during US presidential elections, did your organization urge for caution or advocate for free trade? Our organization remains neutral and does not participate in lobbying activities.

Our non-profit organization provides support to our members who may encounter challenges. Our aim is to aid them in overcoming these difficulties, but we limit our assistance to a certain extent and do not lobby the government for policy changes.

When it comes to starting or doing a business in India, our members outside of the country express concerns about facing obstacles. However, they seek out our support for specific needs such as trade education, investment guidance in certain markets, and advice on documentation. While we cannot alter tariffs, we do offer indirect assistance towards their success.

For instance, local World Trade Centers (WTCs) would

be linked with local government. Recently, I had a meeting with political representatives in Mumbai city and they maintain an excellent rapport with the WTC there. Thus, if the WTC in Mumbai has any grievances, they would be brought to the attention of the representatives and they would comprehend the situation.
