What is Weight Bearing Activities?
Weight bearing activities are any form of physical activity or exercise that places load on the skeleton and muscles. It is also important to focus on proper form when engaging in any type of activity involving weights such as squats or deadlifts so as not to cause injury from incorrect technique or improper loading on one’s joints and ligaments. Overall, weight bearing exercises should be included in everyone’s workout routine regardless of age or current fitness level due to their many advantages such as improved bone density and muscle mass while simultaneously decreasing fat storage which all lead towards better overall health outcomes.
