What is Needs And Wants?
Needs and wants are terms that refer to specific desires. Needs refer to the basic necessities of life, such as food, water, shelter and clothing. Wants on the other hand are desires for items or experiences that are not essential but make life more enjoyable. In today’s society we have become accustomed to having a wide array of options at our disposal when it comes to fulfilling our needs and wants. We can choose from numerous brands and styles of clothing, different types of foods, various modes of transportation and entertainment services just to name a few. The abundance of choices has made it easier than ever before to fulfill both needs and wants in a timely manner with minimal effort. However, there is an important distinction between needs and wants that should be kept in mind when making decisions about how best to use your resources: Needs must be met first before any thought can be given toward satisfying one’s wants. In other words if you do not have enough money or resources available to meet all your necessary expenses then no amount spent on non-essential items will provide satisfaction; instead spending should focus on meeting those most pressing requirements first until they are taken care off before considering buying anything else. This is especially true if the desire would result in debt which could lead to financial hardship down the road if left unmanaged. It is also advised that you take time out for yourself for relaxation or leisure activities so as not feel overwhelmed by all the work involved in taking care of your responsibilities. Taking periodic breaks throughout the day allows you get away from everyday stressors so that you can come back feeling refreshed and energized ready tackle whatever task lies ahead with renewed enthusiasm.
