Consequently, those living in such environments have strong feelings about maintaining religious beliefs and customs which may date back hundreds of years. They also create many laws regarding acceptable behaviour as well as establish legal systems designed to enforce these rules. Organizations operating within high uncertainty avoidance contexts will often find that decisions are made slowly due to extensive analysis of every potential outcome before any action is taken; this can lead to delays but also reduces the risk involved in making decisions. Additionally, employees working in industries where high levels of certainty are required tend to be highly motivated by clear goals set by management so that everyone understands what needs to be done failure is not tolerated. However, businesses must work hard at creating an environment which encourages creativity and innovation as otherwise progress could become stagnated due inefficient decision-making processes caused by an unwillingness take risks or try something new out of fear it won’t succeed. Overall, while having a culture that values certainty provides its citizens with a sense of safety and security it can also inhibit growth if there’s too much emphasis placed on avoiding taking risks or trying something new – this could result in organizations missing out on opportunities for improvement or development due lack of openness towards experimentation or change.
