For the sake of those unaware, my name is Simon Bolivar. However, my name is not the focus of this gathering, my fellow people. The importance of names diminishes due to the efforts of our colonizers, who aim to suppress recognition of the local people. The governance of our countries falls into the hands of imposters who seize our land and subjugate our will. Our land's history is abundant in bravery, and our heritage cannot be indefinitely stolen from us without consequences or justice. Freedom is an inherent right that we are all born with, and those who strip it away from us must be expelled without hesitation or compassion. Those who oppress the true individuals of South America shall endure the anger stemming from oppression, discrimination, and suffering. Without freedom, we are no different from slaves. Independen

ce is essential to rightfully call ourselves free individuals, as it grants us the ability to determine the path of our own societies. With this in mind, let us establish a united and democratic government for the liberated states of South America (History-Heritage).

The lands we call our own have been unjustly ruled by the Spanish conquerors, who have taken advantage of us while disregarding our people. They have seized our fertile lands and forced us into unproductive territories where crops and fruits cannot grow. Our families starve as we are coerced into cultivating this land solely to provide a meager amount of food. Our own God-given nations no longer offer us shelter, as our land has been taken from us. Meanwhile, the products of our lands are exported to enrich the Spanish people, leaving us without income o

infrastructure. We have become enslaved without compensation, stripped of dignity and reduced to mere animals. Hunger-stricken, we are treated no better than donkeys transporting crops from fields to foreign ships. How much longer will we passively witness these unworthy foreigners drain away our lives? Fellow countrymen, it is time for us to unite and reclaim what rightfully belongs to us! The moment has arrived for the people to join together with one voice and collectively fight against those willing to shed our blood in order to maintain an oppressive system.

The police shoot us for their entertainment, while the rulers justify these cruel acts as necessary to maintain law and order. We question where these same police are when Spaniards violate our women while their husbands do nothing. Our daughters are forcibly taken from their weeping mothers and subjected to abuse by European intruders. These individuals are the descendants of demons, and it is crucial that we rebel against such evil governance. We must reject the chains they place on our limbs and vigorously resist their torture and murder. If needed, we must personally break these chains ourselves because the time for liberation has come. The moment to eliminate this wickedness from our midst approaches, and every capable man must rise up to reclaim what belonged rightfully to our ancestors. As proud men, those who have stripped us of our masculinity should face consequences. They preach about religious equality, yet they treat our children as if they were born into slavery.Their offspring attend prestigious schools while ours are forced into servitude in fields and households across our land. How can there be equality when we only receive the

leftovers that drop from their tables? Where is justice when they shoot and beat our people as if they have no value or ownership? When will we stop accepting this treatment like animals? When will we have the ability to determine the outcome of our hard work? When will our children have access to quality education like other free people around the world? When will we experience the pride and happiness of independence in our own homeland? Today is that day, my fellow citizens. We are reclaiming what has always belonged to us. In the plateaus and jungles of our vast land, we will wage war and regain the freedom our people have enjoyed for centuries. Some may think that the Spanish are too strong for our local army to defeat. However, let us remember our recent victories in Caracas and Trujillo (Smitha 1). We overcame their armies and reclaimed our cities from those who oppress us. Unfortunately, due to lack of unity, these gains were lost again. Our disunity is our biggest enemy and why we are still enslaved by colonial masters. But together, we will strike at the heart of the enemy and reclaim Bolivia, Ecuador, all the way to Caracas. Our brothers from Haiti have provided soldiers and weapons to support us in upcoming battles. The era of their rule is ending, so prepare yourselves for a victorious march towards independence. Stand up for freedom! Stand up for your families! Stand up for humanity!
