I. Introduction – Brief History of Fort Wayne, IndianaI live here in Fort Wayne, the second largest city in Indiana after Indianapolis.

Fort Wayne is a city based in North Eastern Indiana, USA and the county seat of Allen County. The estimated population of the community is 248,637 as of 2006, making it the 70th largest city in the U.S.A.

The Miami nation established the first settlement at the Maumee, St. Joseph and St. Mary’s Rivers in the mid 17th century.In the year 1969, Comte de Frontenac appointed Jean Baptiste Bissot as the commander of the French outpost in Miami country. This is when the first fort is built which later called Fort Miami.

On February 22, 1840, the growing city incorporated as the City of Fort Wayne. The city suffered disastrous floods in 1982. St. Joseph River in Fort Wayne, The U.S Army Corps of Engineers has constructed a floodwall along the river to prevent further disasters.II.

Based on the past years, the root of some great and famous intelligent people came from this land. And some celebrities, politicians, writers, business man, and inventors were born, raised and made their names in history here in Fort Wayne.

John Chapman, for example, a famous pioneer horticulturalist and Swedenborgian missionary was born here in this city. He is more known as American folklore as Johhny Appleseed, buried in Johnny Appleseed Park. Another famous resident of Fort Wayne was Philo Farnsworth, who was best known for inventing first completely electronic television.Many artists was also once live here in my native land like film actress, Carole Lombard, television actors Shelly Long, Dan Butler, Dick York, and Jenna Fisher. Some was business leaders from some big names in our industry including Dave Thomas, the founder of Wendy’s International and Angie Hicks, founder of national consumer network (City of Fort Wayne website, 2007).

Many great talents have rooted from this land, and I hope that someday, that I will also be known in my line of career today. We can see with this facts that races from my community here in Fort Wayne are basically pure talents, and still many people who now live here in this city is most likely alike from some great and famous people that once live in this historical land in Indiana. People here in my country have a wide variety of dreams and we are aiming to follow the likes of those known people that live here once.Members of our community here in Fort Wayne shares different kinds of values and ideas that makes us look the same with all the things

that we do.

We share knowledge with one another, from one neighbor to another. One very significant value of folks here in Fort Wayne is hospitality. We are very pleased in entertaining our visitors. With this kind of value, we are able to show how we follow the deeds of our native people. Our cultural race gives us the likes of different good values that we are trying to share to one another and soon to the next generation of our community. People here treat everyone with balance, even if you are famous and known, or even if you are rich or poor.

Cultural life here in Fort Wayne is great. I am an addict when it comes to nightlife with my friends. We always went to some bars and music venues here in our city every end of the week. In this way, we are doing recreational activities with our friends and neighbors.

Fort Wayne city has a large numbers of musical bars and recreational park for people here loves recreational activities especially outdoor activities, even though our night life here in Fort Wayne does not center on the downtown area like most cities in the United States.  Night life here will be found generally on the small strip named the Columbia Street or “The Landing” near the City County Building. Politics, Leaders and MediaToday, our city mayor is Democrat Graham Richard, who served people in Fort Wayne since January of 2000. His tern will end at the end of this year 2007. HE is a member

of the Mayors against Illegal Guns Coalition, an organization formed last year (2006). As a member of this community, I have conclude and saw the given laws and regulations of our government our really effective especially in peace and order services for the community and in building more established business center for our natives to earn more for our cultural living. We follow diligently all the orders and laws given by the leaders of our land. People here in my country are very obedient and industrious.

Leaders here in our government don’t take advantage to their power, nor even think of doing anything against their duties as a honorable leaders of our community. They just give us pure good services that bring peace and serenity to all members of our community like me. Based from the loyalty of our native races, our city clerk until today has been Fort Wayne’s city clerk since 1983. This shows the loyalty of our race and community. (Hawfield, 1998)Local Media in our country represents the mission and vision of every members of our community up to the roots of our races.

Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, the major newspaper in the city is the most independent loyalty service ever known in my whole life.  They bring the community true services and news for all of the people living in this land. Sharing our coral values to one another makes all of us here in Fort Wayne, unique. With great diversities, knowledge and talents that came from our native people who once live in here, we are very much confident to face other people with a good deeds, values and loyalty

from our heart up to the influence of our race to some great known people here in our country.

IV. Religion and EducationI always attend church services during weekends here in Fort Wayne. Community people here bring holiness with one another by showing our faith unto the lord. Fort Wayne’s nickname is Summit City, but beside it, Fort Wayne is also called the “City of Churches”.

We can see that this name has rooted since the late 1800s when the city was the hub of Catholic and Lutheran faiths. Up until the building of the Lincoln Bank Tower in 1929, church and cathedrals form this city dominates the skyline. This shows the influences of our races from the faith of our community to God.Without great known schools and universities here in our city, there will also be no great talents and famous names born here in Fort Wayne.

Fort Wayne is the home of Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW), with almost 12,000 students enrolled making it the 5th largest public university campus in Indiana. The city also has the main campus of Ivy Tech Community College, the second largest public community college campus in Indiana. By this big schools and universities, we can tell how those famous talents and names have born in the line of our race, influencing many people in our community.V.

Opinions and RecommendationAs a member of this community, influenced by the race of our native known people in this land, I still wanted to share and bring more good things for my city. I live here not just for living and nothing; I live here in my native country to share

my knowledge and blessings, to my family, to my neighbors and up to all the leaders governing our great known city of Fort Wayne.For our local government, just continue their good and loyal service to us, community people living here in Fort Wayne. Make all laws and regulation more powerful for us to be more equal to one another and make a high standard of living in this country.

Continue to grow and support talents from us, people who shows great opportunities for much greater dominancy in all areas and aspects of works. Bring a lager amount of influences to our generation to make our cultural living here in Fort Wayne, a unique quality of life.VI. ConclusionOur cultural style of living here in Fort Wayne, Indiana brings a large effect considering our different activities, ethics, and ways of life that we are able to culminate from great and famous native people who once live in this country.  By the roots from our ancestor up to the new generation of our race in this community, we can see how the different interrelationships from one other have made a big part in becoming a high standard of community. Members of community here in our land shares their good deeds and values that results to the same kind of race flowing from our blood, influenced by different kinds of aspects that came from our ancestors, leaders of our city and up to our neighbors.

Almost in all areas of work and daily activities, all of us here in Fort Wayne are alike with one another.We can say from this research work based from my community, that influences of

our race have many directions and roots when relates to the community of one country. The activities and cultural life of one community has a great influenced in the race of one group of people who shares, enjoy, and interact in different ways of living from the past up to the new generation of people. Somehow we can analyze the points of view of one kind of influence of our races in this world by relating it to our community.

We will be able to know at one glance, the characteristic of a person even if you don’t know him well. You just have to have an idea of the cultural living and life of the person’s community. By this we can conclude already what kind of race the person belongs. Scientifically speaking, we can say that races of a group of people are directly proportional to the ways of living of its own community.
