Statement of Purpose
The unprecedented explosion of corporations and financial services industry has brought about immense opportunities to utilize newer principles, methodologies, tools and practices in the field of finance. It is this challenging field in which I would like to gain expertise.
Academic Background
Over the years, I have always found Mathematics and Economics thoroughly engaging. This is why I sought to pursue a degree in Pure Mathematics. During my three years at University, I have maintained a 72% average leaving me amongst the top 5% of students in my degree course.
Area of Interest
Finance, as a field, had always fascinated me. During the course of my undergraduate degree, I took it upon myself to major in Mathematical Finance, Applied Statistics and Actuarial Mathematics.

I have been planning a career in Finance for several years, but as a mathematics undergraduate I primarily concentrated on getting a solid background in core functions.
