I express gratitude to all those who have attended this convention and bestowed me with their presence. My purpose today is to address the subject of Nurturing Creative Minds. When our minds are in danger, many questions arise. However, I would like to begin by quoting Albert Einstein: "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler."

Many people doubt the importance of nurturing creativity in education, but I firmly believe that formal schooling is not necessary for cultivating a creative mind. Even toddlers, as young as two years old, can encounter different characters like superheroes, unicorns, and dinosaurs. At this stage, children usually have vibrant imaginations and it is advantageous for them to participate in make-believe play within their own imaginative realms.

In my early years, before school, my parents taught

me to differentiate between red, yellow, and blue colors. Although it was initially confusing, I eventually developed a preference for certain colors and learned how to blend them to make secondary colors. For instance, I found that mixing blue and yellow creates green. Additionally, I have cherished memories of my parents reading bedtime stories to me. Even though I didn't fully grasp the words back then, the illustrations in those books greatly helped me understand the story.

In order to foster creativity in children, it is essential to educate them on the importance and mechanics of imagination. Although a child's imagination naturally progresses, it can be enhanced by exposing them to novel encounters and viewpoints, thereby broadening their outlooks. To conclude, I would like to expand on my viewpoint regarding the aforementioned quote. It proposes that a person's mind can be developed and nurtured through simple methods, especially for young children.
