According to Araya (2015), the inequality in the US education system is a consequence of income inequality, which is closely connected to economic classes.

In comparison to less affluent neighborhoods, wealthier neighborhoods prioritize education by allocating more funds towards it. As a result, schools in wealthy areas thrive over time while schools in impoverished areas deteriorate (Araya, 2015). To address this inequality within the education system, all stakeholders in the US education system must collaborate. Both the state and federal government should identify and allocate additional funding to schools in impoverished neighborhoods. Simultaneously, policymakers must ensure that these schools hire an adequate number of highly skilled teachers to improve the quality of education for students. Consequently, attending schools located in financially disadvantaged neighborhoods is likely to provide students with a superior education.

se in educational inequality and create a uniform system for all students, regardless of their socioeconomic status. Nonetheless, providing funding to schools in disadvantaged areas could result in overcrowding issues as middle-class families choose not to enroll their children in expensive schools. This scenario might cause an excessive allocation of government resources towards social welfare programs, potentially creating economic disparities and hindering the implementation of other initiatives.

In wealthy areas, disadvantaged schools may discriminate against students, further complicating aid programs and worsening disparities. It is unfortunate that inequality persists in different institutions, including education within society. Policymakers should be concerned that their efforts may not fully eliminate educational inequalities. All those who care about education should be unsatisfied with current policies and advocate for the creation of more effective measures to address educational inequality.
