At the start of the trailer, the chosen music evokes fear in the audience. In the middle, the tempo suddenly shifts to a faster sound, surprising and scaring the viewers. The unexpected change in music causes a jump scare as the audience did not anticipate it.

Having successfully selected and positioned the music, I achieved my objective. Horror movie enthusiasts seek to experience an adrenaline rush, which makes them excited about what is coming next.

Horror movie viewers and theme park visitors both crave an adrenaline rush. In order to fully captivate the audience and provide a truly immersive experience, I utilized direct address at the end of the trailer, using the phrase "Don't forget". This approach fosters involvement and engagement with the content.

In the majority of horror movie trailers, the characters typically come from alternate universes or struggle with personal issues. However, in my trailer, I opted to feature typical teenagers. My reasoning for this decision is that by showcasing characters without problems, the audience could easily follow the storyline without becoming perplexed. Therefore, I utilized standard adolescents with no concerns or anxieties.

In my opinion, using normal teenagers instead of abnormal characters made

the trailer more straightforward, while still fitting within the horror genre. The setting was an abandoned old school.

The trailer, titled Trapped, perfectly aligns with the horror genre as it portrays an abandoned and seemingly haunted school that has been unvisited for years. Thus, the film's name accurately reflects the storyline where a group of teenagers decide to explore the decrepit building on Halloween night instead of trick or treating. As fate would have it, they become locked in and with no escape route available, it sets the stage for a horrific ordeal.

The former student who attended the same school and was possessed also got stuck with them. The horror trailer's theme revolves around people being trapped, which is aptly represented by its name, "Trapped." I believe that I aptly selected this name since it aligns with the film genre. An ideal setting for a horror movie is somewhere unsettling, obscure, and eerie. If all these conditions are met, the audience would be scared upon viewing the setting.

My horror movie trailer, made from an abandoned school setting, successfully incorporates the typical codes and conventions found in horror films. However, its length could be improved as it seemed to drag on and lose the audience's concentration towards the end while my classmates were viewing it.

After creating my horror trailer, I believe that it could have been condensed. However, I gained valuable insight into the necessary elements for such a trailer, such as selecting appropriate font types and color schemes, as well as choosing suitable music among other factors. Initially, I thought the process would be straightforward; however, the endeavor proved more challenging than expected. Overall,
