The creation of Pakistan resulted from the partition of India, a tumultuous event marked by conflict, enduring hostilities, massive migration, and the establishment of a theocratic state. Despite being formed in August 1947, Pakistan has remained underdeveloped even after 66 years. Consequently, we rely on international monetary funds and assistance from allies like China, America, and Saudi Arabia to stabilize our economy. Additionally, we continue our efforts to discover new energy resources for meeting our energy needs.

The lack of awareness about entrepreneurship's importance contributes to economic stagnation and corruption in Pakistan. International surveys consistently rank us as one of the most corrupt nations in the world. While entrepreneurs can accumulate wealth quickly, overconfidence and a lack of understanding about proper business techniques often lead to their downfall.

SEEMED is highly respected in Pakistan for its effective contribution to entrepreneurship and the country's economy. Their mission statement emphasizes creating a favorable environment and delivering services to enhance capacities and competitiveness within the SEEM sector. Despite such efforts, there remains a lack of awareness among people in Pakistan, leading to many businesses being inherited or copied without innovation.
