Computers play a significant role in various everyday activities, including managing processes in an industrial workplace through the use of computerization as a control system.

Computerization brings about a reduction in human errors and processing time, leading to increased productivity and the production of high-quality products. In the field of Information Systems, computerization focuses on connecting various but interconnected transactions. This results in a system that integrates processes effectively, enabling faster and more accurate performance compared to a manual system. Computerization addresses the limitations of manual systems, providing speed and control. Additionally, computerization aids in decision-making processes.

The customization of output formats is possible to meet the demands of fast information retrieval needed for decision making. Information technology has made significant progress in this century, expanding the use of computers beyond diagnosing illnesses or performing surgeries. Computers now pl

management. To access the data efficiently the prospective users of the computerized system are clinic staffs and doctor of the clinic.

Historical Background:

The Magno Ob-Gyn and Ultrasound Clinic, since its founding in December 2003, are considered as one of the clinic that has quality healthcare for women in Calapan City and nearby municipality. It is strategically located in Ilaya Calapn City. From the start it only offered ob-gyn ultrasound services, pre natal/ post natal consult, normal/ caesarean delivery, gynaecologic consultant and operations, infertility work-up and operations, pap smear, pregnancy test, family planning and as the time goes by Dra. Felicia Christina Pacis Magno the owner of Magno Ob-Gyn and Ultrasound Clinic doesn’t stop from providing the medical needs of every woman so she added the following different services: transvaginal, transectal, pelvic abdominal, BPS, congenital anomaly, follicle monitoring, hysterosalpingography and recently they offered 3d and 4d viewing for ultrasound. After almost nine (9) years in the business the Magno Ob-Gyn and Ultrasound Clinic has continuously provided the women with medical care and valuable diagnostic services given at affordable costs.

This proposed study aims to design and develop a clinic management system for Magno Ob Gyn and Ultrasound Clinic. The system will improve operations by providing an easier, faster, more organized, secured, and accurate system. Specific objectives include analyzing the manual system used by the clinic, identifying problems encountered, and developing a system to enhance patients' information, payments, reports, and maintenance. The main problem addressed is the manual record keeping and billing records in the clinic. The current process involves storing records on pre-formatted sheets in filing cabinets which consumes time and effort in organizing. Additionally, there is no

computerized information or billing system in place. The purpose of this study is to propose a beneficial system for managing fixed assets in clinics or hospitals. It also aims to introduce a Computerized Patient's Information and Billing model that can assist in estimating costs for future medical program designs.

This study is useful to the following: Clinic. The proposed system aims to simplify and automate the clinic's everyday tasks, maximizing time spent with clients and providing better services for increased profitability. Additionally, it will make it easier for the doctor to manage the clinic and retrieve patient records.

Staff

The computerized medical record system for Magno Ob-Gyn and Ultrasound Clinic assists the staff in conveniently finding and creating medical records for patients, thereby reducing errors.

Patients will be able to benefit from having safe and secure records. In the long run, this system will provide them with ease and peace of mind knowing their past medical records.

Researchers were challenged to push themselves in developing the patient information and billing system. This system will serve as a foundation for enhancing their skills and expanding their knowledge in research, software design, and development.
