Water is the most essential elements is the nature of sustainability of any living system. The concept through which living organisms survive is an issue which needs discussion since it is an environmental concern. Different human activities, however, lead to the change of the environment that leads to the production of water in particular through the destruction of water catchment areas. To sustain the environment of the development of different projects for the housing for human beings to avoid reckless destruction of the natural environment, people need to develop projects that lead to a better environment. Similarly, for a balanced environment to have good water factors such quality and quantity of water should be put in concern. The availability of plenty water in an area that is poor in its drainage capacities, the natural processes can large
...ly change.
The changes may end up in causing significant environmental changes. On another note, if the adequate quantity of water lacks, the existence of many living organisms that live in the terrestrial ecosystem might be at threat. A sustainable community should always consider the issues which lead to the maintenance of a natural environment. All the problems related to the environmental changes should always be avoided when one is in the process of trying to determine where one can set up construction (Hammer & Chadik, 2009). One should always construct near urban areas or even in areas surrounding a marketplace. The transport expenses need to be as low as possible therefore there is an annexed to make light decisions to ensure that all the commercial areas are accessible to many commercial areas. All the factors that are considered in
choosing a location for construction. In the land of Bangladesh, for example, has an excellent plan for the environment which has helped in the process of avoiding the continued renovation in the coming future. Some of the essential items used in different communities assist in the bright designing of buildings. Communal areas should always be put up to ensure that some important indoor activities are made sustainable. Activities such as public gym bathing and the sporting activities.
Some Use of the Land
In a project construction, several issues are put into concern. One the segmental activities involve the overall operations of the removal of vegetation and the topsoil from covering the site under construction (Dunlap & Mertig, 2014). The activities include the drilling, trenching, blasting, excavating and finally vegetation cover removal. Water can also be diverted from one place to another. The process is, however, complicated as compared to the techno- economics availability and the feasibility of the resources. Some of the activities that occur result from to the impact to all living organisms that exist in the wildlife. Bulldozers also cause some notice which is a source of pollution to the environment. The announcement affects wildlife animals, and some might even migrate to new areas since they are mainly affected by the technological equipment working on the constructions.
The environment of living organisms is also affected by different gasses that emitted on the daily basis by industries and different machines used in our day to day activities. Smoke and the gasses that are emitted lead to the effects of respiratory diseases. Water catchment areas are primarily affected since the gasses move to the air and mix with
clouds that form rain. The rain created by these gasses may be corrosive to plants and the roofing materials (Dunlap & Mertig, 2014). Use of machines in construction sites; leads to the production of dust which might harm the plants that emit moisture through evaporation. Dust can also lower the visibility of animals as well as destroying the quality of ground water. Fish and the organism living in the water and their respective habitats may also be widely affected by the effect that leads to the destruction of surface water that is found in the wetland areas. All these results will finally result in the reduction of the habitat in the wildlife, the death of most plants and animals, vegetation invasion, formation of acid rain, noise, and exposure to contaminated water supply. It is always necessary to consider the conservation of water. Water supply is essential to all living organisms since it is the most significant source of life. All activities which pollute the wet environment should be avoided at all costs. Activities to restore water supply areas like deforestation, reforestation, and closing up of pollutant inducting and quarries should be put into practice.
Steps that help in the maintenance of Water supply and the treatment of waste in the water
It is necessary to maintain all the water catchment and supply areas. Waste water can easily be treated or put into safety through the use of dams or storage in any other critical areas for future use. We should avoid the excessive and wastage of water. All the environments that are right catchment areas for water should be properly maintained. Buildings are suitable for harvesting domestic
water from the rain. It is important to repair and renovate buildings to avoid spillage of excess water. Sewage should be well drained and treated to prevent it from getting into direct contact with safe water. People should also reduce the use of non-renewable sources of energy such us charcoal and firewood. The act will reduce deforestation which affects the natural environment. We should also reduce air pollution through closing down of pollutant industries. All developers who are involved in the construction should avoid excessive dust contamination. Living organisms in soil are important and also, this will take care of fresh water sources on the surface.
