I have always had a strong passion for nursing and assisting others, which has remained unwavering even during times of vulnerability. To ascertain if becoming an RN is the suitable career choice, I am conducting research.
The requirements for becoming an RN involve obtaining a high school diploma, acquiring a nursing degree, completing supervised clinical work experience, and obtaining a license. RNs have various responsibilities and can earn up to $64,340 per year. These responsibilities include evaluating tests to assess patient conditions, monitoring patient care, and prescribing or recommending medications and treatments. Pursuing a career as an RN would allow me to express my passion for the profession by providing care and guidance for others.
After taking the Holland personality type test, it was suggested that nursing could be a suitable career option. I anticipate encountering challenges

Similarly, by hiding my emotions, I refer to refraining from crying in situations where patients or critical conditions elicit such a response.
Despite being 27% social and a kinesthetic learner, I believe I possess valuable qualities for this profession. There are several advantages to this position, such as experiencing a diverse range of tasks on a daily basis, easily preparing for work, feeling valued, contributing to saving lives, and being part of a trusted nursing profession. However, along with these benefits come drawbacks, including handling bodily fluids, working 12-hour shifts, and dealing with stress.
According to a fellow RN, nurses often require multiple hands to complete the numerous hands-on tasks
It is essential for them to remain calm as a stressed and panicked nurse can disturb and frighten patients.
It is advisable to engage in hospital volunteering while in college or high school to ensure suitability and capability for a nursing career. Nursing professionals require proficiency in multitasking, teamwork, communication, and awareness of their surroundings. Having investigated the typical activities of a registered nurse (RN), I am fully determined to pursue this as a life goal. Additionally, I am contemplating the possibility of becoming a travel nurse, which combines my passion for travel and caring for others. With utmost dedication and drive, I am now highly focused on obtaining the necessary degrees and licenses to become an RN by 2025!
