Individuals at universities, startups, and freelancers are capable of accomplishing the same tasks, and corporate companies are now open to seeking external technology adoption," he added. When it comes to working with large MNCs, Anup advised that startups should not target a company overall, but instead focus on identifying a specific pain point within an MNC. "By addressing the right pain point, you can end up collaborating with an MNC."

"Google serves as the main portal for information,
but information on Google is presented by different companies. For instance, if you are searching for housing information, you would turn to websites like Magicbricks, Housing.com, and others."
However, Google remains the gateway to access this data. Ideapoke is one entity under Google for information on technology," Anup said. Today, Ideapoke has over 1,80,000 companies, close to 3000 universities, 24 lakh technology listings, and 2000 successful solutions. Its clientele includes large MNCs like Loreal India, Britannia, Godrej, Coca Cola, Electrolux, amongst others. The company also crowdsources information from corporate companies.
