some people thought that his company was a monopoly. However, he did not agree with the statement. Alternatively, he believed that he created a lot of job opportunities for the society. Furthermore, he has been contributing a lot of the charities and foundations. He is my favorite successful businessman in the world because he is humble and friendly. He always encourages his employees rather than blaming them or lowering their self-esteem. During his journey as an entrepreneur, Gates have made many people successful especially those around him. This means that, as an entrepreneur, Gates was not self-centered but believed in the opinion and ideas of others. Team work with his workmate contributed greatly to his success.

Pettinger (2010) stated that Bill Gates is among the most effective and wealthiest people on the globe. Recent statistics estimate his net worth to be $56 billion, and this is equal to Gross Domestic Product of several African economies combined. He is an extremely rich man that the world will live to acknowledge.

Quotes are very important in identifying someone’s personality. Concerning that, Brainy quote ( 2013) stated that Bill Gates has made many beneficial quotes such as “ It is fine to celebrate success but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure”; “Technology is just a tool. Bill Gates has revealed many character traits that make him a special person and an absolute hero. For instance, Weebly (2005) mentioned that Bill Gates was very intelligent because all he scored in his subjects was “A” grades, and the fact that he got a 1590 out of 1600 on SAT confirms to us that Gates was talented in academics. Moreover, he never gave up in whatever he set his mind to do. It is one of the character traits that makes him admirable to the populace. Additionally, he is not only hardworking but also a happy man.

Gates has many achievements that stand for him and has lots of impact on the whole world nowadays. Microsoft (2011) stated that Gates’s biggest accomplishment was Microsoft, the worldwide leader in software, service and solutions that help people realize their aim. Microsoft is, from a perspective, a massive invention because it operates on every computer.

Microsoft operating system contains several computer packages such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel among others that have become vital in everyday lives and businesses of individuals. It would be hard to imagine how life can be without these packages. Ragarding this, Microsoft alone would stand for Bill Gates but he did not stop at it, he went further and invented Corbis. Corbis intend to develop the world’s largest resources of information visually- a comprehensive digital archive of arts and photography from collections around the world. In all honesty, Corbis is a

very big inventory because it brought to the world new ideas to develop the world’s largest information in a visual way.

Gates was very keen about human welfare that’s why he and his wife Melinda started a foundation named “The Bill & Melinda Gates.” It is among the world’s largest foundations. This foundation aims for some tough challenges such as extreme poverty and poor health in developing countries, and the failure of America’s education system. Also, it supports initiatives in the sector of global health and learning and these initiatives are vital in the 21st Century. Moreover, it is thought that if this foundation succeeds it will make a very big difference in the developing countries.

Despite his success, Gates have had rivals. Both Bill Gates and Steve Jobs have many made great achievements in their lives. However, a critical analysis reveals that Bill is miles ahead of Steve Jobs. This shows that Bill gates is determined and strong enough to deal with his rivals. As a result, he has become a role model to numerous entrepreneurs who have the desire to prosper in their businesses.
Visually (2013) outlined the difference between both personalities in many ways. Gates developed Microsoft Windows and grew it to be the world’s largest software company which now operates in nearly every computer and laptop in the word with super-good profits. On the other hand, Steve Jobs created magnificent technologies like iPhone and iPod which are luxuries that people buy every now and then. Honestly speaking they did a big evolution in the world of technology because they have many features that can connect you to the whole world in a second from

your place.

Also, another key difference to mention is that Bill Gates’s highest net worth is $72.7 billion but Steve Job’s is $10.2 billion which reveals that Bill Gates is more successful than Steve. Most important, Bill’s product is something that no one could replace with any other thing but Steve’s products could be replaced with products from Samsung or Google. Gates held the title of richest person in the world from 1994 to 2007. For sure, if compared with anyone in the world, Bill Gates will absolutely sweep as he is the most known businessman worldwide and much known for his accomplishments and charity projects.

In conclusion, I would have to say that Bill Gates is a persistent person with tremendous accomplishments like Microsoft and Corbis. His character traits emphasize that he’s very smart, helper, challenge taker, and he’s very determined. He is a perfect example of a real businessman and a role model to many. For sure, his character is worth to emulate. His determination, ambitions and visions prove to be paramount ingredients in entrepreneurship. His products and returns from his work have earned him fame popularity in the current generation. However, it clear that all did not come to him easily but through many years of handwork. He has proved that success is a rough journey that needs persistence and a great desire to achieve. Entrepreneurs should therefore set goals and prepare for a course to achieve them. Giving up should never be an option but learning from mistakes should be the sole source of motivation and determination.
