Thick black soot covered the sky outside my bedroom, emitting a smell of death and disease. The air was filled with coughs and sputters from those around me while car alarms blared in the distance, creating an overwhelming noise. Panic spread as residents fled their homes in all directions with no clear plan of action. Reporters swarmed to witness this rare occurrence while the army mobilized from all angles to handle the situation. As I observed outside, enormous boulders fell from the sky, scattering debris like giant hailstones.

While considering going back to my house to watch television, I became aware of a news reporter announcing the occurrence of a significant gas explosion in the town center. Although there were no confirmed deaths, viewers would be given further information. Yet, as soon as I

stepped outside, pandemonium greeted me with a crowd of people running towards me in panic and shouting about a volcanic eruption. It was an appalling sight with scorching hot air and the strong smell of molten lava permeating through the air. As things developed, more individuals were attempting to flee from danger due to the intense heat of the lava, which caused some serious burns.

Observing the dreadful catastrophe, it was evident that no action could be taken due to the lava completely engulfing nearby residences. The city center was particularly distressing as molten lava erupted from underground pipes and a significant police blockade was established to prohibit entry. Hospitals were overwhelmed with individuals seeking information on their loved ones' safety, hoping for their well-being amidst the distressing sights of blazing structures, houses, and automobiles resembling a battlefield.

Authorities gave assurances that they were doing everything feasible to rescue those trapped in ablaze residences following an abrupt eruption of a long-dormant volcano. The fire brigade's head chief called for an emergency meeting at the town hall to discuss subsequent steps and cautioned everyone against approaching the now-contained volcano. Subsequently, I promptly collected my possessions and opted to escape the conflict zone in order to ensure my safety. My loved ones rushed towards me, ecstatic to see that I was still alive, and we hastily made our way towards our vehicle with the intention of driving as far away from the town as possible.
