High school life is one of the very crucial stages in life where most teens are always made to believe that at this juncture of life, they expect their parent's to treat them like adults and also to be given some freedom. It is at the high school life stage that many of the teens may get misled or carried away by the extreme peer pressure. At this level of education, many teens are always propelled by the desire to experience some of the free lifestyles that in most cases they only watch the movies or see the older teens in the neighborhood enjoying. Within the company Mae is assigned some duties by her bosses whom she is expected to perform very well to maintain the high status of the enterprise in the technology world. She is therefore obliged to ensure that she completes all her duties within the stipulated time and also does them perfectly so that she can maintain her status or get elevated to the new ranks within the company.

While still at the lower levels of education before joining the high schools, most pupils are always encouraged or motivated to work hard so that they can be able to acquire good grades that can enable them to join some of the best schools in the countries. In the Utopian life, Mae works very hard in her college studies so that she can be able to secure a chance in one of the top American technology company. Her efforts pay off when she lands a job a the circle which is one of the top technology company in the US and therefore this means that she is likely to earn a good salary which will be sufficient to change her living standard with that of her family too. After securing the job, Mae commits herself to her job, and this grants her more success in the company as her status is elevated further in the company's hierarchy something that catches the envy of her friend Annie. She works hard in school work so

she can have the capacity to obtain a shot in one of the top United States innovation organization The kind of jealousy that is developed by Annie towards Mae's success is one common trait in the high schools as most students always develop a sense of competition that in most case results into jealousy among them.

Within the circle, some of the employees develop a sense of relationship among themselves, this is a common trend among most teens at the high schools, this is because most of the teens begin to experience their late adolescence stage at this stage of life which is relationships and sexual desires characterize most cases. It is therefore very common to find students in opposite sex relating to one another. At the circle, Mae gets falls in love with Francis during her first days at the company but later she gets into a romantic affair with Kalden within the same company. Mae's ex-boyfriend also resurfaces in her life demanding that he should not be captured by the new technology device that is being tested at the circle. Even Mae's current boyfriend is cautious of this new technology and wants her to help in stopping it as this device exposes all the individuals' privacy and past life experiences which might be embarrassing. Mae rejects this idea for fear of losing her job at Circle.

At the circle, the company has put in store some of the various recreational facilities that are used by its employees to refreshment and relaxing their mind after a hard day's work. The given case is more similar to the high school life where the administration has put in

place several extra curriculum activities that help the students to relax their minds after extensive periods of learning. Some of such facilities include a swimming pool, football pitch, and other games facilities. During certain occasions in the high schools, the administration occasionally organizes for some social functions that are meant to help the students to interact with their fellow students and also to get entertained. The circle also had a culture of frequently organizing parties for their employees. During her first day at the company ends in a party from where she meets with Francis and falls in love with him. The encounter of Mae and Kalden illustrates some of the happenings and the high school parties where the students normally get into new affairs and sexual relationships.

The comparison between the high school teenage life and the circle is an illustration of what happens in the lives of most youths today. The life at circle depicts that the current teens are aggressive people who are more interested in developing lifestyles that are full of fun and enjoyment. The youths are also more interested in developing relationships other than concentrating on other issues within the society. The new technology that is developed by the Circle may expose the youths and other younger children on matters of privacy that they should not be exposed to tender ages. By exposing the private lives of people, it also creates animosity that may result into the breakages of many families. The new technology that is developed by the circle should, therefore, be destroyed and should not be pardoned at all cost in the society.
