What is Research?
A research report is a document that details the findings of an in-depth investigation on a specific topic. It typically contains background information, data from experiments or surveys, and analysis of results, as well as conclusions and recommendations. Research reports are used to convey knowledge gained from scientific studies and can be shared with other scholars for further study or reference. They are also often used by organizations and businesses to inform decision makers about the state of their industry, technology, market trends, customer preferences, etc. When writing a research report, it’s important to include all relevant information in an organized manner so it is easy to understand and interpret. Generally speaking, this includes: 1) Introduction This should provide background information about the topic being studied (e.g., definitions of terms used), why the study was conducted (e.g., what problem it aims to solve), how it was conducted (e.g., methodologies employed), who participated (if applicable), results obtained (e.g., key findings). 2) Methodology & Data Collection This section should describe how data was collected for the study including sampling techniques used if any were employed; types of surveys or interviews conducted; instruments utilized; etc.). 3) Results & Analysis – In this section you will explain what your data revealed through quantitative/qualitative analysis techniques such as statistical methods or content analysis which may help reveal patterns in the data set you have uncovered through your examination process. 4) Discussion & Conclusion – Here you will discuss any interesting observations gleaned from your results section as well as possible implications for future research or policy making efforts related to the issue investigated in this paper . You should also include any recommendations based upon your findings here too. Additionally consider addressing any ethical concerns raised by conducting this type of research project with human participants if applicable 5) References Lastly make sure you cite all sources appropriately using proper academic citation style formatting when citing publications books websites etc.
