What is Marketing Concept?
Marketing is the process of creating, promoting, and delivering products and services to consumers. It involves identifying customer needs and wants, researching markets, developing a product or service that meets those needs and wants, pricing it appropriately for the target market, promoting it in an effective manner, and delivering it to customers. The marketing concept is a business philosophy that focuses on satisfying customer needs through an integrated set of activities that includes product development, pricing strategies, promotion techniques and distribution channels. The marketing concept emphasizes customer orientation by focusing on understanding the wants and needs of customers first before creating a product or service. This approach requires companies to be proactive in anticipating market trends so they can stay ahead of competition. Companies must also establish relationships with customers to gain their trust and loyalty. Once this relationship has been established they can then provide quality products or services at competitive prices while offering sales promotions or discounts when appropriate. In addition to being customer-oriented, the marketing concept also focuses on creating value for both the company as well as its customers by using resources efficiently while striving for innovation in products or services offered. Companies must also have good communication between departments within the organization so that everyone is aware of what is happening in all areas related to marketing strategy such as research & development (R), finance & accounting (F), operations & logistics (O) etc. Having a strong relationship with suppliers can also help create more value for customers by providing timely delivery of goods or services at competitive prices. Finally, having an effective distribution strategy ensures that the right quantities are delivered to the right locations at the right time. This may include direct sales via ecommerce websites; partnerships with retailers; wholesalers; distributors; third-party logistics providers (3PLs); etc. The ultimate goal should always be focused around providing maximum satisfaction to customers while building long-term relationships with them through excellent service delivery. Overall ,the marketing concept stresses on satisfying customer needs through an integrated set of activities which focus on understanding customer requirements first before developing new products/services along with efficient use of resources while engaging in innovative processes which would ultimately provide added value both for company as well as its stakeholders – Customers.
