We live for the way it feels when we beat an opponent, to be tentative of your opponent's strategies and knowing that those two extra sprints that we ran In reactive were worth it. We live for the countless number of songs that we sing In our head while training all those hours.
We live for the competition, the memories, and the pain. This Is who we are. This Is who I am. I have been playing tennis for 10 years and I turned a professional tennis player In 2011.
My highest ranking was 5 In Salsa and amongst the top 5 In my country. Tennis court Is a place where I can be myself.
For me tennis is not just a sport where you hold a racket and hit a ball. It is way more than that. It is
...something I live for, something I dream about, something hat makes me a better person off court. Tennis taught me that one shouldn't be over emotional because people tend to take advantage of your weakness.
It made me a stolid person. Anyone under the guise of friendship can betray you. They may seem amicable, but can put you in jeopardy. This may lead to insidious effect of stress and pressure on the tennis player.
I still remember the day when I won my first tennis match, I was so delighted.
For me it was not Just winning a first round it was an inspiration of playing the sport day in and day out, working hard and giving my 100 recent all the time. Winning and losing is part of the game, but it depend
on us how we deal with it. I have been taught that when you want success as badly as you want air, then you will achieve it; there are no secrets to success. So never give up.
To become a professional tennis player we need to be mentally strong and perform our tasks warily as the body is pushed to perform very high intense activities that can cause injuries. These injuries can bereft us from playing the sport.
I suffered from a golfer's elbow, back in 2007 which was so worst that I couldn't even lift my racket for wow years. Making a comeback after such a long break did not seem feasible to anyone. Obstacles can do two things: either stop you or make you creative. For me, I overcame my obstacles and thought of them as a beautiful gift to make my life better.
I never stopped believing in myself and my dreams. My self-belief was Impervious of the negative talks by all those people who thought I couldn't make It back to the top. I made sure that I proved them wrong. People may doubt what you say, but they believe what you do.
I became the national champion and found my way back to the top.
Those who try to do something are Infinitely better than those who do nothing due to the fear of falling. Life Is undoubtedly full of ups and downs, but those who belong to the top never forget their way back. Finally, I would end with a quotation by my favorite tennis player and former world #1 Roger Feeders: "Failure is temporary, giving up makes it
permanent" By unhistorical professionally. People don't play sport because it is fun.
Ask an athlete, most of us hate training. We play the sport because we can't imagine our life without it.
It is a part of us, the love/ hate relationship. It is what we live for. We live for the practices, your opponent's strategies and knowing that those two extra sprints that we ran in practice were worth it. We live for the countless number of songs that we sing in our the pain.
