The Superman uses his Superlike abilities in serving others a value which every citizen should emulate (Gray & Betty 37). This is shown by his participation upon being sent by her aunt in a charity drive located in a nearby National Guard armory. This shows his commitment and dedication to nation building making him an ideal national hero. He also in another incident helps a police officer to arrest a burglar who is responsible for his uncle’s murder.

He regrets his failures linked to the past crimes he had committed, which cause the guilt that makes him feel to help people (Gray & Betty 37). However, he later discovers that power comes with responsibility and that failing to exercise given power can be detrimental to another citizen. He finds out that if

he had used his power to arrest the thief previously he would have saved his uncle's life. This was because upon arresting the thief he discovered that it was the same thief he had failed to arrest already. This teaches us that the interests of the nation come before our interests when it comes to the use of power, talent or knowledge bestowed on us.

Throughout his life, Superman is a dedicated statesman. He takes his studies seriously as shown by his advancement from high school to empire state university where he divides his time between studies and work. After graduating, he does a lot of research on technology and discovery which later helps him repair his damaged cloth using the futuristic technology. This shows the importance of education and technology advancement in our country which is essential for solving many problems facing our nation.

The superman seems to have a place in the minds of both the children and as well adults our society (Kort-Butler 198). For the children, he is a superhero they emulate, while for the adult his comic character is both entertaining and educative. For instance, Justice Kagan made the superman’s Supreme Court joke alleging that parties who had failed to agree on an end date contemplating that royalty would continue for as long as kids want to imitate Superman by doing super can be not dangerous. The justice borrowed from superman man’s virtues by reminding them that with great power comes great responsibility.
