I got curiosity of reading foreign cultures and developed the interest of studying abroad. A lot of people around the globe have made a step and are living in places other than their native countries; studying, working and others even have their families alongside them.

zons of students. Moreover, it offers students an opportunity for a growing avidity as they pursue their passions and at the same time cultivates their personalities and independence. Looking at the realistic side of the aspiration among most students, some decide to stay at their home countries and lead a solitary, nostalgic life but for others, tight pockets do not support the fulfillment of their ambitions (Findlay et al. 20). There is a sense of international exposure that is reasonably imperative in the career-building process as one studies abroad. Also, it is the wish of every student to stand shoulder to shoulder with the current technologies and this globalized world. Scholars want to meet people of various backgrounds, interact and get adapted to the latest world trends. This tremendous change regarding knowledge and personality can only

get felt after the accomplishment of the studies.

I leaped and moved to the United States as I pointedly noticed that, the foreign culture could be more suitable to my attitude, beliefs, and personality than my home country. A lot of people are fascinated by another country due to the manner things get done, traditions and social codes of foreign countries. Most students get to study overseas because they want to grab the best job opportunities in their area of expertise. Mine was different. I got to study abroad due to my passion and ambition, to stretch my knowledge of computers. To learn artificial intelligence, the building of networks and the web languages and increase my understanding of databases (Nelson and Richard 20). I have always been fascinated in computing since an early age. I got the desire from one of my favorites people, my dad, he had a computer system at his place of work, and this sparked my interest. I always recall the urge of just wanting to be acquainted with how the computers operate, the reason for working plus what again could they possibly do.

The curiosity never left me. Instead, it grew more passionate and profound with each discovery I noticed. From observing the marvels of the internet to connecting with artificial intelligence, the internet left me fascinated with how much mystery yet power they hold. Worldwide, I specifically got attracted to the United States because of the manner in which individuals interact with each other, the history, food, art and most importantly, the quality of education in the country. It is pleasing to go and stay abroad and to get immersed in

a culture that is different from you, where you can learn things that would not be on offer at your home place.

The A-levels study I chose assisted me to grow more focus. For example, I understood how some parts of computers function through my studies in physics and mathematics. The idea gave me a great anticipation for the challenges involved in pursuing a career in computer science until I finally got an opportunity to study the subject abroad. Studying opportunity being the significant motivational move, and acquiring new skills, ambition and knowledge is all I ever needed in my area of specialization. This opportunity got facilitated by the fact that I could speak basic English even though I hail from the Middle East and most colleges and universities give priority to bilingual people. Fortunately, I got the opportunity abroad to further my studies in computer science. Staying overseas is an enriching experience since it forces one to adapt to unusual or unfamiliar events, besides, you become open to new or existing challenges plus you learn how to be independent, things that you might not have encountered at your native place.

Getting my chance abroad at the United States granted me the opportunity to develop as well as to learn. Since I gradually discovered things about myself which I had no ideas about, for example, I never knew that I could be an extrovert in good measure, easily assimilated by the new cultures and beliefs. All these opened my eyes to all kinds of life aspects that would be otherwise difficult to acquire at home country (Leung et al. 169). The skills acquired would generally help me

generate confidence, an understanding of inner transformation, personal insight and independence. Though, a lot get achieved when it comes to the experiences abroad, still, there exist some challenges.

Education abroad is a phenomenal prospect for a worldwide exposure that comes in hand with a lot of challenges (Altbach 30). Finances can be an alarming issue while living abroad. The education is exceptional but expensive. A different environment and ambiance is a big challenge among foreign students; despite the awareness of the new country setting, the student must still expect a different treatment as one tries to adapt to the new culture. Getting used to the new foodstuff can make one feel homesick and nostalgia. Furthermore, learning a second language can be as tough as old boots that most first-year students may not easily overcome, however, one gets to adapt to the new environment as they make good friends. The challenge of homesickness can cause one to partially depend on others while getting to explore on the foreign land. I consider studying abroad as a golden opportunity with stupendous quality facilitates and infrastructure which greatly assists students in reaching their goals. I hope to achieve my expectations of broadening my understanding in computer science industry. To gain a different and better sense of the world from the university experience I will gather in the United States.

Culture is not all about personal habits, languages, and food; it can include various beliefs, perceptions and affect someone's manner of life and worldwide view (McLeod, Mark, and Philip 70). Therefore, it is essential for one to discover various ideologies to appreciate the origin of other cultures. The knowledge can help one

to understand deeply about a specific subject from different prospect and angle of the globe. Besides, one gets equipped with perspectives and novel ideas about foreign culture as well as their motherland culture (Mohajeri et al. 387). This assimilation provides students abroad with an opportunity to extract out the moral from foreign culture and fit the same in native culture. My experience specifically in the United States challenges me to reconsider my values and beliefs and view them through new eyes. Apparently, the only way to beat the communication challenge is by interacting more with the foreign society. The experience of interacting with people gets you to learn the interconnection of various ideas and cultures. This knowledge allows one to appreciate the surrounding of the human being, and this is what shaped me most as a person.

In conclusion, there are various reasons why people may consider buying the one-way ticket and live in a foreign country. It may be a permanent or a temporary stay, but an assured thing is that one would never look back due to the fantastic and learning experience people undergo through. I can, therefore, say that living or learning abroad is an experience that I would change for nothing. Getting to learn new languages, creating networks plus beautifying my curriculum vitae get you to appreciate learning abroad. However, homesickness, high cost, and language barriers seem to threaten this adventurous life. Nevertheless, one becomes more independent, increased openness and appreciates the value of friendship as one adapts to the new environment. I believe that the new surroundings, the modern education system plus the new country will allow me to experience events,

sights and a culture that will enable me to fully adapt to a different atmosphere and hence get a genuine understanding and a familiarisation with the United States as a whole. Above all, the confidence that one gains after accomplishment of the abroad studies gives the best job opportunities globally. Therefore, studying abroad exposes one to educational, social and cultural experience which can transform the entire life and forever live happily.
