A Nonprofit Milestone From The Philanthropy Timeline
One of the most remarkable milestones from the philanthropy timeline was the events of September 11, 2011. The event took place after a terrorist attack on the United States of America injuring thousands.
Americans donated $2.2 billion to different philanthropic organizations that set the 9/11 funds. It is a significant milestone because it was the most amount of money ever raised for one disaster (Aebischer, 2012). However, a good portion of the money was misappropriated but setting up internal and external auditors to ensure that every penny is spent appropriately would have been of great significant. Auditors keep the accountants on toes and question them in case they need clarification regarding expenditures.

The charity navigator search criteria are very specific, and the information contained therein is not for all the charity or nonprofit organizations but only organizations that meet a certain condition. The condition is that charity navigator scrutinizes and provides information for different organizations that have been exempted tax under the section 501 (c) (3) of the internal revenue code and have already filled a form 990. Under section 501 (c) (3), non-profit organizations are said to be charities whose donations are all tax exempt (Navigator, 2013).
Pros And Cons Of The Type Of Technological Marketing
Technological marketing is undertaken using different methods. Some of the types of technological marketing include Google analytics that manages and monitor digital marketing endeavors.
Another example of technological marketin
is Pipedrive that monitors customer relationship. The other example of technological marketing is texting. The are several advantages and a few disadvantages of texting. To begin with are the advantages. To begin with, technological marketing is very effective in reaching the target audience. Secondly, texting is very fast, and the clarity of the messages reaches the target audience appropriately.
Additionally, texting as a means of marketing can reach several people at the same time. However, there is some disadvantage of technological marketing. People that might not be able to read cannot comprehend such form of marketing and thus might not work for them. Texting can work appropriately for this specific case of veterans of foreign wars.
