Discussing my selected entrepreneur and their enterprise, I will delve into the journey of the American entrepreneur who was a co-founder of Facebook. Mark Zuckerberg's story began in middle school where he developed computer programs, with a great focus on communication tools and games. He created a computer application system that proved helpful for the employees at his father's workplace. Mark's exceptional skills did not go unnoticed, Microsoft and AOL made attempts to attain his product Synapse, a music player he built. Nonetheless, he decided to attend Harvard college in 2002.

In February 4, 2004, Zuckerberg created a socializing website for Harvard College students. The website, called "Facebook", was launched from his dormitory room. Later on, Zuckerberg extended the website to other universities. He left Harvard and relocated to Palo Alto, California where he utilized a small house as his office. In the process, he met Peter Thiel who invested in the company.

In 2007, Zuckerberg rejected buyout offers for Facebook because he believed that creating an open information flow for the public was more important. and was eventually shut down by Facebook the following summer. One of Zuckerberg's defining characteristics in business is his strong desire to be the boss of his own company, which is evident in his refusal to sell Facebook to other corporations.

Mark Zuckerberg employed various skills to establish a prosperous business. These included the capability to motivate and invigorate others, as evidenced by his assertion that he established Facebook solely for the benefit of people and not for financial gain. Additionally, he displayed an aptitude for learning from mistakes when he decided to discontinue Wirehog after realizing it was unsuccessful. He also devoted significant time and effort to his business, which is exemplified by his decision to leave school and move to California in order to concentrate on Facebook. Furthermore, his objective of creating an open flow of information demonstrated goal orientation while creating Facebook for people's enjoyment revealed a customer-oriented mindset.

Zuckerberg's ability to adapt and be innovative has helped him achieve great success. Consequently, at only 26 years old, Zuckerberg owns a 24% stake in Facebook and is worth $6.9 billion.

Zuckerberg, who successfully linked people through the internet, regularly donates to charities and schools. He also endeavors to create alternative computer programs and websites while making a guest appearance on The Simpsons in October 2010.
