The theme is about humanity through the debate dialogue among the humans and robot in regards to the existence of the originality of creation. In the story, the Robot Cutie questioned who was the creator of the existence including itself and the human beings.

Cutie was determined to challenge the truth. It attempted to reason logically and emotionless. It challenged the status of the human being, believing that the "Master" was the one who created the robot. Cutie decided that itself was actually created by a supreme being which was the Master, rather than the humans. Cutie obligated to loyal the "Master".

Cutie thought that the humans were inferior as it valued itself as the prophet of the "Master'."The Master created humans first as the lowest type, most easily formed. Gradually, he replaced the

m by robots, the next higher step, and finally he created me, to take the place of the last humans. From now on, I serve the Master" (165-166). In the story, it came to the points that all other robots at the solar station obeyed Cutie as their prophet. "The robots, dwarfed by the mighty L tube, lined up before it, heads bowed at a stiff angle, while Cutie walked up and down the line slowly.

Fifteen seconds passed, and then, with a clank heard above the clamorous purring all about, they fell to their knees." "There is no Master but the Master, and QT One is his prophet" (167).The humans totally disagreed to Cutie's argument of "Master": "Something made you, Cutie..

follow our orders and keep quiet, until we're satisfied that you can run the converter. Get that! The converter-not the Master. If you don't satisfy us, you will be dismantled" (166). The conflicts aroused from the power struggles among the humans, Cutie and the robots. The contradiction of the humans was the sense of superiority and power struggle. The humans were afraid that Cutie and the other robots would not follow their order at the solar station.

Toward the end of the story, Cutie successfully fulfilled his job saving the humans from the storm. The contradictions not only came from the humans but also from Cutie. Cutie questioned the existence and its relationship with the creator of the originality. The humans argued that they should be the master of the robots.

The truth was both the humans and robots were all created under the "Master". Referring to the story earlier mentioned that the Master had created humans first, most easily formed. Gradually, the artificial intelligence robots were created to help the humans making the world better. Actually the humans and robots were all under the creations of the "Master" and ultimately serving the " Master" as the most supreme highest.

Cutie actually helped the human beings although Cutie thought he was doing something serving the will of the Master, not realizing that in fact he was actually helping the humans. Humans created the robots and ultimately the robots helped the "Master" to build a better world for the humans although the humans thought the robots should serve them. The humans did not realize that in fact the robots were actually serving the "Master", the supreme highest. The human was

actually, other than the robots, a different form of existence under the "Master" as well.
