In this exercise you have to write an e-mail to your new friend Félix who doesn’t know anything about your family. Tell him about yours and ask him at least three questions about his own family.

Use the vocabulary you have learned so far about family members and family relationships, use numbers, watch out for the possessive adjectives, adjective agreements in number and gender.

When asking him about his family, use all the three ways of asking questions in French: the form “est-ce que”, the inversion or simply the intonation that he will not be able to “hear” from the e-mail but he will understand as you will put the interrogation mark at the end.

Je m’appelle Sylvie. Ma mère s’appelle Mira. Elle est petite et maigre. Elle a des cheveux courts et noirs. Mon père s’appelle Vélimir. Il est très grand et maigre. J’ai un frère qui s’appelle David et une sœur, Alexandra. Ils sont très marrons, les deux. On adore jouer ensemble. Ma sœur aime chanter et mon frère aime lire les BD. Ma mère est très active et elle adore jardiner. Mon père est très gentil. Il sait tout faire. Nous avons aussi un chat qui s’appelle Minou. Minou adore observer des oiseaux.
