Do team and I represented my college for the Inter-MRSM Tae Kwon Do Tournament in 2009.

By participating in extracurricular activities, I learn on how to manage my time so that I can balance my study, play and rest time equally. Participating in various competitions also helped me to enhance my creativity and broaden my experience. Recently, I received 8A+ and 1A for my SPM result and now intending to further my studies in the Medical field. Currently, I am now doing my Foundation in Medical Science at MSU under my post trial result. Although I have already started my pre-university, I am still applying for MARA to get sponsorship to study abroad.

The countries that I prefer to go are Ireland, United Kingdom, New Zealand or Australia. From countless of research I have concluded that these countries have the best universities for Medical program. Besides that, these countries are using English as the medium of teaching and it is a great advantage as I am fluent in English whether in speaking, writing or understanding. Therefore, it makes learning become easier. My first choice of university is the University of Adelaide, Australia, University of Melbourne, Australia and followed by University of Dublin, Ireland.

I have also made up a few choices of local universities in which I would like to do my MBBS. My first choice is Monash University Malaysia. Based on many reviews from counselors, peers, seniors and family members, Monash University is certainly one of the best universities that cater Medical degree here in Malaysia. Besides that, I have done a little research on its program outline and it is definitely of high

quality learning. I did also attend its recent Open Day and listened to talks given by their lecturers regarding their medical program.

On top of that, medical graduates from Monash University are accredited by the Australia government. My second option is the Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences. Although it is still new, the quality of teaching is as good as overseas medical school. My third choice is Management and Science University as I have already started my Foundation program there. After graduating with a medical degree, I would serve the government for three years as a houseman.

My aspiration is also conduct research with any health organizations particularly the Malaysian Medical Council in order to improve the health care among the Malaysian community. Besides that, I would serve the government hospital as a proficient medical practitioner thus improving the health care quality in the government sectors. After a few years of working experience I would like to do my Masters and specialized in neurology. By specializing in this particular medical field, I would have a better understanding in the subject therefore, can help in curing health problems regarding it.

As Malaysians doctors are improving themselves by turning to specialists, Malaysians will no need to go to the overseas to seek for treatment. By becoming a specialist also, I can help my country in welcoming patients from outside the nation to receive cure, hence making Malaysia proud. In conclusion, becoming a medical practitioner will give me a full satisfaction in what I’m doing and as one person; I can become an agent of social change towards the Malaysia health development.
