The Disparity Between Intellect and Character How do you explain the fact that morally evil people can be highly educated in terms of ethics and religion? In other words, how do you account for the gap that sometimes occurs between knowledge of ethics and being an ethical person? I think that people who are evil people and are educated in ethics and religion are people that may have been taught what ethics are as a child but have chosen to be non-ethical people in a sense.
Just because you are educated and may feel as if you know more than someone else because of the school you may have went to or the family that you may have came from, doesn’t mean that you have ethics or that you are being an ethical person. Being a person with the knowle

I think that we as a society try to teach our children and ourselves the right and the wrong things to do that we sometimes forget to teach them or ourselves about having ethics and what ethics are.
Even in school, we are taught some things about ethics and how to be an ethical person, but I don’t think that it goes deep enough for some people to understand grasp hold of what a person with ethics is. There are so many things that society has considered more of some importance that having ethics are overlooked. I think that college is the final step to learn the things that will help you throughout your life and having ethics is one of them. I think that the professors that you deal with throughout your course of college can teach you the things that they know and may have been through. Yes, you may know what having ethics and what being an ethical person is before you get to college but more elaboration on the subject would always be a plus for someone that was not taught in the right way.
